what we do
Mushrooms
We grow fresh, log-grown culinary mushrooms seasonally. We also produce value-added mushroom products, such as dehydrated/dried mushrooms or shiitake sea salt that are available all year round.
Unique wines
We produce small-batch, intentional wines of place from vineyards planted or managed by Ben within a 10-mile radius of Quartzwood. We focus on varietals or hybrids that we feel suit our climate and mid-Atlantic terroir.
Cabinstays
Our restored 1780s cabin (formerly a general store rebuilt on the property) is available for rustic, comfortable stays for 2-4 people on-site at Quartzwood.
